Please add the following information: If it is possible to run HVM guests on AMD CPUs, xm dmesg | fgrep SVM prints (XEN) HVM: SVM enabled When SVM has to be enabled in the BIOS in order to run HVM guests, above command prints: (XEN) AMD SVM Extension is disabled in BIOS. Christoph
