That should now be vmlinuz-2.6.18-xen I believe. Obviously subject to change
with a new release.

Hopefully you were just searching for the wrong name. It definitely is within
the distfile.

No, just copy vmlinuz-2.6.18-xen to / or wherever you want and make sure you
identify it's location correctly in the domu config.
