No, I've 'X11_TYPE=modular'

2007Q4 is the branch I used.

No. Like explained in a Howto[1], I've installed NetBSD (snapshot 200801190002Z)
_without_ the X sets, put 'X11_TYPE=modular' in /etc/mk.conf, and pkgsrced the
following packages:
x11/modular-xorg-server
meta-pkgs/modular-xorg-fonts
x11/xf86-input-keyboard
x11/xf86-input-mouse
x11/xf86-video-ati
x11/xauth
x11/xinit
