I might point out that the wiki is out of date. They told be off say hard 
about my wiki formatting when I created it on onbsd.org that I never bothered 
to update from about a year ago.

The 'noapic nosmp' parameters should not be required unless you have issues 
booting. From what I have seen on this list, acpi=off tends to yield results 
when unable to boot. Use all these options as a last resort.

Everything else should pretty much apply. There may be some redundant tasks in 
there but better safe than sorry.
