This seems to be a linuxism. *BSD don't have a command line argument for the kernel; the flags passed to the normal i386 bootloader are parsed by the bootloader, and turned into a bitmap for the kernel, rather than have the kernel parse the string. I'm not sure what the solution is, but it would be nice to have one. -- Dan.
