how do I pass flags to the kernel, i.e. to boot into single-user mode for=
=20
filesystem work?

xm help create contains
extra=3DARGS
Set extra arguments to append to the kernel command line.
Default None

but trying to following had no success:=20

kernel =3D "/export/data/xen/dom2/netbsd-XENU"
extra =3D "-s"
cpu =3D -1
memory =3D 64
name =3D "dom2-netbsd"
nics =3D 1
disk =3D [=20
'file:/export/data/xen/dom2/root,hda1,w','file:/export/data/xen/dom2/usr1,h=
da2,w'
]
[...]
