OK, the problem is there: xend gets wd0e and wd0f from the request it
gets from xm, but it nevers does NAMI on /dev/wd0f. I'm not sure how it
interprets this line, but it gets it wrong.

Ho, maybe I got it. You have:
disk = ['phys:/dev/wd0e,sda1,w', 'phys:/dev/wd0f,sda2,w']
in my config files I have 'phy' not 'phys'. Maybe that's it ?
