16 is EBUSY, this looks right. Device 0x0 doesn't look good: this is wd0a, not
wd0i. But see my other message about this (the device number is trucated).
If you can use a partition <= g it should work. Or you can setup a
single-component ccd to remap this wd0i to ccd0d (which will work).
