Re: NetBSD/vax 11.0RC1

It used to be that you broke into ddb with ESC B, wasn't it?

And I seem to remember having seen some issues in the past when running with lots of memory, so I usually only run my NetBSD/vax with 128M.

i built a fresh netbsd-11/vax world and installed it on my netbsd-11 vax

unfortunately, my 512gb system has soft-hung while building tools/gcc,
i'm not 100% sure where, that build doesn't show all compiling names etc.

it's soft because getty was still responsive in the terminal, but trying
to login hangs before it / as it runs login -- i get no password: prompt.

and worse, i've failed to figure out how to force ddb from the console
(really a pty in my screen session), as the normal method to set the
break string to +++++ is failing -- it's set, but the driver does not see
to notice them, and the driver seems to have the right code in place to
do this... if anyone wants to look at that, would be great -- how to
enter ddb when setting hw.cnmagic=+++++ or similar. even how to generate
a serial break from the console...
