Really? I thought that basically a lot of work that went into fixing GCC 
on VAX are only in more recent versions, and the improvements are more 
than significant. Basically, currently used GCC on VAX is close to not 
useful, and haven't been for the last 10 years.

Looking forward to be able to build NetBSD natively on a VAX again. It's 
bee a *long* time since that was working...
