Hm, no idea what this could be.  It seems to fail to find the mscp 
controller in the generic case.

About boot; I updated the drivers to always do register remapping last 
year, which made it into NetBSD 8.
The problem with boot was that the kernel failed to be loaded, your 
problem is something else...
