It would be nice if there were numbers for the relative performance of
NetBSD versions.
I've alluded to this before, and I'd be happy to collect them, but the
only machines supported by 1.2 were the uVAXII and 11/750, and I only
have a 4000 and a VS2000. (*)
I'm quite sure the 11/780 was supported, since I generated the 1.2
release on a 780 :-)
And now when Dave has two of them we may ask him nicely (785, but it's
the same, just a little faster) if he can install and test some old
NetBSD, just to get the performance figures.
