Has anyone noticed lately that perl as is currently in pkgsrc fails with an illegal instruction error?Which NetBSD version are you using? There was a binutils bug related to the encoding of floating point numbers in current for a while (not sure if 5.1 was affected).
It's 5.1RC3 compiled from the sources of the 7th of July, 2010. If anything important was fixed, perhaps it should get pulled up ASAP so it can get into 5.1...
