Creating an image of an OpenVMS disk



Hi, I have been trying to create an image of an OpenVMS drive using dd, but
not having much success. The command I've tried is: 

aleph# dd if=/dev/sd3a of=orac-system-disk.iso
dd: /dev/sd3a: Device not configured

What I'm trying to do is use NetBSD to create an image of disks sd2 and sd3
so that I can mount them using the VAX simulator SIMH.

Can anyone provide any suggestions please? Thanks a lot, Mark.

Upon bootup I get the following relevant messages:
