I've asked periodically about cross-compiling pkgsrc and have yet to
get any clear answers.

I'm guessing that the only real way to get results with pkgsrc and
cross-compiling would be to set up $PKGSRC/devel/distcc on the platform
you're compiling for, and have the remote-compile hosts running the
cross compilers.

I suspect someone with time to kill, willingness to dig into the
pkgsrc internals, and a fast devel machine needs to sit down and try
bootstrapping with a cross-compiler.

I've never set this up myself, but it might work, for someone with some
time to kill. :)
