Hi,

I've installed 3.1 on a 4000/500A (KA681) and I'm experiencing some
network problems with the ze0 interface. Xterms lock up when displaying
a lot of text (man pages will often do it) and attempts to compile
packages from a NFS mounted pkgsrc result in NFS lockups. Running some
tests using ttcp, I find that the vax will receive data quite happily
but seems to have problems with transmit. Looking back through the
archives, I can see some discussion of similar symptoms from back in the
1.6 era but I haven't found anything to say they were resolved. I'd
particularly like to get NFS working, are there any patches/workrounds
that might help?

Regards,
George
