The root disks we tried were 1001 and 200MB in size. We tried NetBSD
1.6.2, 2.1 and 3.0 with different results:

1.6.2: the boot CD got stuck after discovering its file system type

2.1: installboot segfaults on the following command:

 % installboot /dev/rsd0d /usr/mdec/sdboot

However, as it turned out,

 % installboot /dev/sd0d /usr/mdec/sdboot

didn't segfault, and even did the right thing, so this may be a

a) documentation bug
b) error handling bug

3.0: kernel panic when labeling the disk

So we do have the system running in the meanwhile, however, it takes
a decent amount of interaction because the installer uses the first
installboot command.
