Netbooting is the usual method to get NetBSD on a VAX for me. Note that
the net boot loader is broken, this one works:
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-archive/NetBSD-1.5.1/vax/installatio=
n/netboot/boot.mop
Anything else is descibed in the netboot HOWTO on the NetBSD web site.
