Sweet, this means i have models 54-207702-01 and 54-207706-01 &
54-207706-026 of VLC implementations of LCG covered for. Since yours is
HR model there is either no mode switch/jumper or it doesn't do anything
if it is there. I take it's your ROM that sets timing parameters
(refresh rate and both sync rates) according to your hardware but this
doesn't matter in console driver (merely a curiosity, i haven't yet
toyed with it so i don't know for programmable LCG really is - as in,
does it allow higher refresh rates than the ROM set one).

Docs list both MONO and quad head (4HHR) versions of LCG as being
avaliable and they list a model supporting 800x600 mode too (a LR
model). If anybody happens to own either of those PLEASE let me know. I
have no way of detecting either of those art the moment and would really
appreciate your help.

BTW, I apologize for being grunpy and all but i ran out of beer.
