Could somebody help me to find which step I did
incorrectly? I have a home network and all computers
described below are connected to the network through a
hub. 
1. NetBSD computer running NetBSD 1.6.1.
2. VAX3900
3. This linux computer I use to compose this email.
I follow the steps described in the website
http://www.pimpworks.org/dec/vaxarchive/swdist/bsd/bdc/VAX-netboot-HOWTO.html

network settings:
mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.254
IP Linux 192.168.1.1, NetBSD 192.168.1.10
(Note: both computer can access the internet so the
settings are right.)

On the NetBSD:
#more /etc/hosts
::1		localhost
127.0.0.1	localhost
192.168.1.10	bootserver.wstech.com bootserver
192.168.1.11	vaxclient.wstech.com vaxclient
(Note: My router does not run a name service. I forged
the names in /etc/hosts. Does this matter?)

#more /etc/ethers
0800:2b:09:7c:bc vaxclient

#ls -l /tftpboot/mop
MOPBOOT.SYS boot.mop
(Note: MOPBOOT.SYS is linked to boot.mop file)

#rarpd -a -d
rarpd: rtk0: 0:2:2a:b1:81:e5
Feb  6 21:38:40  rarpd[199]: rtk0: 0:2:2a:b1:81:e5

on another console,
#mopd -a -d
mopd: not running as daemon, -d given

On my vax3900, after the self test,

On the NetBSD mopd console, there are error messages:

MOP RC 802.3 8:0:2b:9:7c:bc >ab:0:0:2:0:0 len 45 code
07 SID

(Note: Then repeat the last two error messages for
ever)

On the rarpd console, There is no activity.

Please help me to identify my mistakes. Thank you! I
just can't find out what is wrong. Help me!
