     I've tried several dip configurations, but the KFQSA never shows 
up in "service" mode in a sho dev, as described in n.rieck's notes.
     I was able to clear one item, however. A sho dev previously 
produced a long wait before writing:

UQSSP Disk Controller 1 (760334)
