I don't recall specifically trying it, but I can't see any reason why
it wouldn't.  I'll have to synthesize the ID jumpers to tell the second
CPU it _is_ a second CPU, but that's all I expect to need.

I would guess so, but that is just a guess.  I wouldn't be using NetBSD
anyway, at least not in the usual way.  (I may try to get them running
as independent hosts, using the interprocessor capabilities as a
network link.  The NetBSD I'm running does not do multiprocessor, and
the other way has a lot more hack value besides. :)
