Oh, it is a bit spurious and might be timing-sensitive. The higher
the bit-rate for the console terminal, the faster it locks up.
Running with 19200 bps console input is almost always dead on
my 4000/500, and dies within minutes on my 3400.

Console output still works then, btw.

And yes, it works in SIMH, like a charm
