I think that people would generally like a NetBSD answer, like der
Mouse's. Serial ports on NetBSD machines are generally pretty easy to come
by, and a tool to make use of them would be good.
der Mouse - maybe your tool should be a part of NetBSD?
My Amiga has 7 serial ports on a multiport serial port card (all running
off of a 6502!), and I offer serial consoles to other machines in the
colocation facility. Trust me - there are lots of things that are not
very desirable about minicom, so I am thinking of switching to der Mouse's
utlity.
