Hello, 

I have two VS4000-60 boxes.  One runs fine, I noted my install travails in
netbsd-docs.  

The second is a puzzle.  The ethernet hardware must be OK, because it
netbooted:

So far, so good, my vax she boots.  (Only autoboot works, btw.  If I abort
it, no form of "boot" works. And I don't understand "open netbsd.vax: No
such file or directory".)  

But the install kernel doesn't detect le0, the very place it was loaded
from:

# ifconfig -a; dmesg; cat /var/run/dmesg.boot
lo0: flags=8008<LOOPBACK,MULTICAST> mtu 33220
dmesg: not found
cat: /var/run/dmesg.boot: No such file or directory

:/  I used script(1) before starting cu(1), and captured the output,
attached.  

I think this means there's something peculiar about my machine that the
install kernel doesn't like.  Whatever it is, the bootblocks are OK with
it.  

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to install NetBSD on this baby?
