Michael,

As far as I know, only the 1.5.3 bootfile works. I also tested older =
versions, no luck.

I am booting 1.6 and higher ( -current), via mop, using a booter from
1.5 (file size: 60188 bytes, that's how i recognize it whenever i mess
things up).
On several VAXen. No Problem.
