Well it'd certainly be a hell of an interesting project.  I'm sure
there'd be a lot of happy old computer users if there were some open
hardware MSCP controllers.

An IDE controller would be nice, but while we're dreaming, how about
compact flash controller, or one that supports PCMCIA drives?  You could
have the drive on the card!
