Hi,
maybe someone can reproduce this problem:

NetBSD 1.6, Terminal VT420 at console port (@MV3196), bash 2.05 (freshly
compiled from pkgsrc (08/2002)):

--> After an: #eval `tset -sQrm vt320`
    (TERM and TERMCAP are set to vt320)
--> There is no "command line recall" possible at the bash-prompt.

If I substitute vt320 with vt220 or vt420, I can recall commands with arrow
keys as usual.

There seems to be a problem with the vt320 termcap definitions. No problems
exist as long as I just do an "export TERM=vt320" (not using tset from
above) w/o! setting the TERMCAP environment variable.
