     I run NetBSD 1.51 on a VAX 4000/300. I have 2 RZ58's in an
external BA42 enclosure. I have an Apple CD150 that the VAX thinks is
an RRD42 (the VAX will boot from it, using an ISO CD).
I think I am one of the only "end users" on this list. I use my
VAX as a proxying firewall, with fetchmail, squid and NewsCache
installed. One of the things that impressed me the most, when I first
got the VAX and installed 1.5-Alpha on it (summer 1990), was the way
ntpd could provide millisecond accuracy over an ordinary, dial-up
line using a 28.8 modem. Try that on a PC.
