Subject: 1.6 disklabel not reading drives greater than 4?????

show dev gives me sd0-sd4

dmesg gives me sd0-sd4

disklabel won't touch sd4

Is there something off in disklabel that makes it
only read drives 0/1/2/3? The kernel shows sd*
in the config, and I would have thought that to
be any number of sd* devices.

Thanks

(as to VAXen running... I have 3 MVII, 2 MVIII,
 2 MV3100/20, and one each MV3100/38, MV3100/76,
VS4000/60, and VS4000/200... all the scsi bus
things are on NetBSD-1.6, but the ancient MVII
critters run 4.3BSD... the MVIII's run both...
