Almost only hardware (and firmware). The DELQA should be 100% backward
compatible with the DEQNA specs. There exist a turbo version of the DELQA
that can be run in a different mode (DELQA-YM?) but there is no support
for it in NetBSD (I neither have docs nor the card). There is a driver
for that card in 2.11BSD though.
