That has been done in -current (and pullup to 1.6 is pending).

IMHO it's still fundamentally broken and illogical. It never occured to
me I'd have to search for my timezone by typing "E" to get to Europe first.
I only looked at "D" and "G". And since I knew the UTC offset, a numerical
order would be far better.
