Today I tested netboot.
I downloaded the bootfile (june 18) from the netboot directory and I =
copied it to my linux box which is the bootserver.=20
My Vax 3100-M48 does not load boot.mop, it hangs after ">>>b esa0"
My Vax 4000-105a does not load it either, it produces a message: ?HLT =
INST PC00000001
Both of them used to be happy with the 1.5.x boot.mop.
I used "moptrace -a -d" to watch the messages; nothing special as far as =
I can see.
My bootserver is a PC with Redhat 7.1. The mopd has version number =
2.5.3.
Am I using the wrong file?
There is one more remark I would like to make:
The tset line in /root/.login doesn't allow you to set a terminal type =
when you login for the first time.
I would be nice (especially for those who are new to BSD) if a terminal =
type could be set.
As long as the terminal type is unknown you can't use vi and vi is the =
first thing you want to use after a fresh installation.
