I had just gone to the trouble of removing the
PCB from the bottom of the drive and doing the
same thing by fingertip counterclockwise
rotation of the motor hub.  But, now I see that
a screwdriver will do the same thing.

Someone put that tidbit in the FAQ, for good
safekeeping.....(:+}}...

(Since DEC put a hole in the bottom of the PCB
 on the drive, do you think they knew that was
 a design, ahh, err ... feature?  (:+}}...)
