Neat-o, I got a VAXStation 4000/90a myself (with 128BM RAM. :D)

I have no idea, I installed NetBSD on the machine by taking the SCSI
floppydrive out of the 3100/m38 and booting from that.

As long as autoboot works you haven't b0rked anything. I've b0rked my 90a
firmware though. :\

I have a VAXStation 3100/m38 here too that doesn't do it.
