Hi all,
I noticed filesystem corruption beginning after maybe ~4hrs uptime on my
VAXstation 4000/90. I immediately powered off the machine and let it sit for
a few minues, then powered it back on. Now I get this:
>>>boot
-DKA200
85 RESTART SYS
84 FAIL
83 BOOT SYS
(loops)
Is this a symptom of PROM corruption on the /90? Or is my SCSI controller
failing? I'm running what was pretty much a clean install of 1.5.2 save for
NFS mounts for a 4000/200. At the time I noticed the corruption beginning I
had just run "newfs /dev/rsd1c" so I could move the exported FS to an RZ28 of
its own. Will I have to reinstall, or is this rescuable? I don't want to go
through the process of installing everything again if this problem is just
going to come back, and I'd rather not have to lose my data - I had a pretty
large amount of stuff that was being exported that I'd rather not have to
redo.
