I'd like to get even just plain old IEC cords cheap.  When I worked
at Pacific Digital Media (which became ReplayTV, which was acquired by
SonicBlue), we got a quote from an Asian vendor for IEC cords in
quantity 10000 at something like 2.2 cents each.  We thought they'd
made an error in the currency conversion.  But I never found out because
the company decided not to use an IEC connector on the product.  At 2.2c
each, I would have been happy to buy ten thousand myself, and sell them
to other people in lots of one hundred.
