Hmmm it has been dificult with my Vax 3100, 
In the end I netbooted the machine, got the net bsd install stuffworking.
then using ftp copied all of the tgz files I needed, and as I sit here it 
is installing. cool.

Success.. so far I will know in a few mins when it tries to boot.. but 
this is a good feeling, after my much abortive goes with trying to install 
NetBSD on my (dead) uVAX II the 3100/80 seems to be working.
