oh, btw, you do still need to unlock it. once you have the small sliding door
opened, there is a little plastic thing exposed near the bottom of it. 
pull this out like 3/8 of an inch, this is the last 'lock' on the panel. 
_then_ you can slide the panel up and pull it off.
