As Gunther was struggling with this, and I had someone write to me in email 
with a similar problem, I thought I would go through the process of setting 
up a DSSI drive to operate without one of those little ID plugs or even a 
drive bulkhead for that matter.

Unfortunately, this won't work with the KA630 CPU as its monitor is too weak.
