port-vax: LSI11 vs. PDP11/03 can I use an 11/03 as a VAX 11/78x console computer?

Hi,

I don't know why I feel that the VAX 11/78x console computer is
a PDP11/03 of sorts? I think I know where I can find an 11/03.
but have seen so many 11/78x robbed of their console computer,
that it's increasingly hard to get the VAX together. So, can
one tinker with an 11/03 and hook it up as a replacement for the
robbed LSI11?
