I don't have the details handy, but do you
need more than just the UNIBUS cab to sit next door :-)
For FCC reasons, there is a UNIBUS cab
specifically for the VAX 6000 series but
the previous gen of cabs would work too.

IIRC, the DRB32 is a high speed (for those days ...)
parallel machine-to-machine bus.

RD drives (RD53, RD54 and the older ones) are
MFM drives used in machines such as the
MicroVAX II etc. This board would have been
used in either (or both) the VAXstation 8000
and the VAX 9000. (The VAX 9000 used a
MicroVAX II as the console processor, IIRC).

You can hang on to them until you get
a VAX 9000! There were less than 500
sold so these modules may be quite rare.

Should work on any XMI machine (VAX & Alpha).

This is an XMI-SDI adapter - you hang SDI
disks off it (its a KDA50 for the XMI bus
but it does tapes too IIRC).

Any XMI machine can use this.

You would require a whole VAX 7000 (or DEC 7000).

I'm 99% sure that the XMI-SCSI widgets
are ALpha-only.

I don't recall. It may be that one variant
is VAX and the other Alpha, but if so the
only difference is firmware.

Yes.
