Before you do anything else, grab /usr/mdec/boot from the 1.5.1_BETA2
snapshot, and place the boot in your client nfs root.

I won't guarantee it will solve all your problems, but it should
help.  Trying to boot a recent kernel with ancient boot code can
sometimes be a big waste of time.
