Yes, a 3300 should be able to run Ultrix. Mine does, but required some
patching of the installer. It promptly refused to recognize the DSSI drive
i have in it, and i had to edit the install scripts before it would
install. Unfortunately i can't help you with the tapes. My box doesn't
have a tape drive. I borrowed a SCSI card from a friend of mine and
installed from CD instead.
