Yes. The TK70 is also the least reliable part of the machine according
to a DEC FS guy.
Never use ours to be honest.

Pretty typical. Mindset: Big computer = big company with deep pockets,
so they charge as much as they can.

Will do. Might take a day or two, depends when I can pinch the digicam

I have a stack of other stuff I want to document as well whilst I have
it, but it has been in heavy use
and I haven't been able to get hold of it as quick as I would have
liked.

Unfortunately I don't have a manual for my KDB50, it was already in a
machine I acquired.
I moved it to another, without much difficulty, but there are about 4 or
5 ribbon cables IIRC.
