What do you get from "SHOW SCSI" at the boot prompt? On my 4000/60
the SCSI controller is at ID 6. Maybe you should try the drive at ID
7 instead if you want it to be sd1. Or hardwire the drive assignments
in your kernel config (yes, that is supported).
