Go to Radio Shack and get some RJ23's (26's?).  Anyway they are 6 pin
connectors just like the MMJ's.

you probably meant rj12-6wire.

You have no idea how much frustration that spares.
And sorry to have abused the bandr such mundane stuff....

Meantime I found a lot of urls on the wiring. More than I can use.
Interesting that dtr/dsr does not need to be high on the vlc4000....but my
3100 runs without mouse plugged in!

Now all I wait for is a driver for the framebuffers so we can get to
netbsd/gui!
That should reactivate many vaxen and vaxers.
And dusty monstersize monitors....
