i just screwed around a bit in the -current sources and added support for some
4000-series machines again. If you have a VAX 4000 >= model 400, please check
out the kernel at

http://www.bsdfans.org/netbsd/netbsd.bin.gz

This kernel should add support for VAX 4000/500A, 600A and 705A and should
work with the official 1.5-distribution.

Please send me results, preferred including your VAX model and the dmesg
output.
