The initial answer is "it is intended to support MSCP".

Detailed answers probably depend on exactly which RQD11 you have,
since there were several of them.  In a somewhat orthogonal way,
they could support either 2 or 4 drives, and the drives could be
ST506, ESDI, or SCSI.
