You can hook up a DEC serial terminal to it :-). See the page:

And scroll down to the bottom where it shows the 4000/200 panel (same as 
the Microvax 3400 panel). There is also a link to here:

which talke about how to build an MMJ to DE9 (PC-serial port) connector so 
that you can wire up a crufty PC to talk to the VAX. Since most PC terminal 
programs can emulate the VT100 this is a pretty easy way to get this to work.

Once you've done that and you power on the system you can boot the system 
and "break into it"  (see
